What do we do
At home Betesda Mexicali, AC
We take care of receiving children from 3 years to 8 years of age who have gone through situations of abstention to their rights, we take care of them and we look for a suitable place for them.
They may stay with us until they reach the age of majority (18 years).
If they reach the age of majority, they look for a job, a house or if they continue studying they stay as volunteers with Betesda Mexicali.
Feeding
As an institution we have a meal schedule for them. Every day the food accompanied by vegetables or salads varies, always trying to take care of your diet.
Education
7 of our children take special education classes. In our facilities we have a place exclusively for them and their classes. We also have a teacher who supports us with their education so that they can continue learning.
In addition, we have boys from elementary, middle and high school. Some of them take classes in private schools which are: College of the Nations, Instituto Patria del Noroeste and September 16 that take online classes.
Physical activity
Boys do physical activity. They get up Monday through Friday at 5:00 am and exercise for 40 minutes. There are days when the activities vary with the schedule; in the afternoons the exercise is taken at 5:00 pm and lasts 40 minutes. Saturdays and Sundays the boys rest, or if they prefer they can watch dance videos and follow the choreography.
General medical health
They are given a medical check-up every certain period of time, information campaign. In addition to giving talks on the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases or degenerative diseases (diabetes, hypertension, etc.).

Dental medical health
Every month the boys of Betesda have a routine dental check-up, to see if they have any problems or if they need any dental treatment. Currently 4 of the boys wear braces, they are in the process of a better smile. We have the great support of some of the dental doctors who treat us with great dedication.
